卡尔玛将再次交付26台跨运车至马赫码头公司,支持其纽约港和新泽西港海运集装箱码头的运营。此项订单已录入卡哥特科2018年第二季度订单,计划于2019年第一季度进行交付。

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, is to deliver a further order of straddle carriers to Maher Terminals LLC for use at their marine container terminal located in the Port of New York and New Jersey. The order of 26 straddle carriers was booked in Cargotec's 2018 second quarter order intake, and delivery is scheduled to take place during Q1 of 2019.
 
Maher Terminals is one of the largest privately held, multi-user container terminal operators in the world. The company has developed North America's largest marine container terminal in the Port of New York and New Jersey. The terminal covers a total area of approximately 500 acres (200 hectares) and has an estimated capacity of 2 million TEU. The new Kalmar Diesel-electric Straddle Carriers form part of Maher's comprehensive fleet renewal programme. The majority of the company's existing straddle carrier fleet is composed of Kalmar machines, which operate alongside a variety of other Kalmar equipment including reachstackers.
 
Kalmar Straddle Carriers are trusted by terminal operators around the world for their ability to enable faster ship-to-shore crane operations and more efficient landside operations. Driven by a highly efficient diesel-electric power unit, they offer excellent maneuverability, quiet operation, and easy maintenance. The machines delivered to Maher Terminals will have a 50-ton twin-lift capacity and feature a variety of customer-specific customizations that have been jointly developed as part of Kalmar's decades-long cooperation with Maher. The next-generation machines feature new robust mobile drives, a completely redesigned electrical system for the upper frame and spreader and a more spacious electric cabinet layout, as well as LED working lights as standard.
